Online live class was conducted
at AHEAD Academy. The topic of discussion was tooth preparation which may be
defined as the mechanical treatment of dental disease or injury to hard tissue
that restores a tooth to the original form. The mechanical preparation or the
chemical treatment of the remaining tooth structure, which enables it to
accommodate a restorative material without incurring mechanical or biological
failure. Students can attend such classes from their homes or anywhere they
find it comfortable. It is similar to classroom teaching where students can ask
their doubts that are answered by the expert faculty. The class was also
attended by students preparing for ADC (Australian Dental Council) Exam and DCM
(Dental Council of Mauritius).
Cases of impaction were performed at AHEAD Academy, New
Delhi. Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that most people get
in their late teens or early twenties. Sometimes these teeth can be a valuable
asset to the mouth when healthy and properly aligned, but more often, they are
misaligned and require removal. Many such cases are regularly treated at AHEAD
Academy, New Delhi and Mohali.
