New batch of Clinical Course is started at AHEAD
Academy, New Delhi Centre. Students were given a demonstration and taught how
to do crown cutting. They were shown all steps to prepare a crown. The students
also learnt about different finish lines in a crown.
Today Clinical Live class was held on the topic
"Embryology of tongue". The development of tongue was discussed in
detail. All are invited to join the online lectures.
Today Clinical class in Oral Surgery was held. Students were shown
how to give incisions and raise different type of flaps. They were taught various techniques to make access to surgical sites.
The students gained knowledge about flap design and different blades. The students
were told how to handle patients with medical problems and what medications to
prescribe. They were taught and shown various suturing techniques. The students
then practiced the suture outside the patient’s mouth.
At AHEAD Academy, we prepare students thoroughly
before they start working directly on patients. The patients work and practice
on artificial teeth, dental manekin and casts. They are demonstrated the dental
procedures in detail step by step. The students gain confidence through group
discussions and their doubts are cleared.
